I have a question about mining the asteroid field. Specific example : I'm mining an asteroid in the MIRACH system. After each scan, it outputs 20 random asteroids with a unique ID. Let's say that after scanning twice in a row, you will find the same asteroids (I know, the chances are low, but it's not impossible). The question: in the second scan, are the same components found in the asteroid with the same unique identifier, and in the same density? Example: First scan: Asteroid SAT-2909, Mineral richness: 76 Mineral composition: iron, argentum, ruby I mine the asteroid and the asteroid field disappears. Next step: scanning On the second scan, it gives these same asteroids from SAT-2900 to SAT-2919 Let's say I start mining asteroid SAT2909 again. Question: will I get the same values as the first scan? The question is important because if the answer is YES, then it is worth starting a table and summarizing the data of the asteroids based on their identifiers. If the answer is NO, then it is not worth creating a table...
Hi, nope, the "unique" ids are more like random ids, and I think you're not supposed to see same ids appear again and again.
