I have several comments about the game.

1 : Chat window. Unfortunately, it is very small. If there are many participants in a system, the messages disappear too quickly (they appear one after the other, so they quickly scroll down, thus disappearing from the visible part). I would recommend the resizable Chat window.

2 : Missiles. For the reasons listed in the first point, as well as in the event that our eyes slip over a warning message, I would recommend a display on the ship's system panel that indicates that active missiles are heading towards the ship. Even if it doesn't indicate the number of missiles fired, at least indicate that an (still) active missile is moving towards the ship.

3: Numbers: I think the numbers written in green are very small (Market and Cash). I would recommend that they be bigger (numbers 3 - 5 - 6 - 8 can be easily confused)

4: Icons: I think the equipment icons on the system panel are good, but the blue number in the lower left corner cannot be seen properly. I would recommend that it be in the upper right corner, and if possible, with a slightly brighter color. Also, I would recommend that the Miner's laser have a different color (yellow-blue, yellow-orange or similar), because it is not a military weapon. The hybrid Miner's laser, on the other hand, could contain a green color, as it can also be used to attack.

5: Asteroid window: numbers from xx00 to xx19, nothing else. I would recommend that if we start mining the asteroid, at least the values of Condition and Material richness should be displayed here. This is also a great help for the reasons listed in the first point. Perhaps the Mineral contained in it could also appear as a small icon.

6: 'Ghost' ships: if I understand correctly, if someone exits the game but does not dock at a Station, his ship will remain there... I have already seen ships in some systems that have been in the same place for days. This is not a big problem yet, but if 1000 players don't dock, they just exit the game, then the many 'Ghost Ships' will cause a problem.

  3. Yeah, those are indeed small and unreadable :( Also was reported before. I'll work on it.
  4. Sigh, yeah, that was reported a lot. I've been banging my head around that one, hopefully new version is better (updated in v0.9.29), what do you say?
  5. Right, will do.
  6. I believe player ships stay in-game for about 5 minutes, to prevent "flee combat by logging out" (kinda normal for most MMOs), but should disappear after that time. Maybe those were AFK ships? Will look into it.

The Chat window should at least be adjustable in height (I move the mouse to the upper part of the window and can enlarge it). But as an alternative solution, I could suggest that in the values predefined in the Settings menu (normal - the current size, x2 - twice as high, full - up to the full height of the screen)

7 : Jobs. The maximum number of jobs we can take on depends on our reputation at the given guild. However, it is not indicated in the Jobs panel which guild gives the order. I would consider it smart to mark this with at least one icon, because if, for example, there are 6 Jobs at GPD and 8 Jobs at CONS, then we can accept up to 14 Jobs at the same time. Now, however, I don't know which company provides the Jobs.

8 : 'Crafting' window. I would suggest 2 changes.

  • First of all, I don't think it looks good that the names of the missing ingredients are crossed out. I think it would be better to show that if we have the right amount, it is written in green and a green tick is visible after its name, and the name of the missing ingredient is written in red and a red tick is visible next to its name.
  • A 'MAX' option is missing. If we have a larger amount of raw materials, by clicking on the 'MAX' button, the program will calculate the maximum amount that can be Crafted.

9 : Bank. By clicking on the Station, in the window that opens in the upper middle part of the screen, we have the option to request information about the Station (iHAIL button). I noticed that some stations have a Bank, but I can't find this at the Station's menu. Is this just a mistake, am I looking in the wrong place, or will it be added later?

10: Moving materials from cargo to cargo (or cargo to Store). I own several ships. My first suggestion is to be able to see the cargo (*and Store) contents of the ships displayed in the Hangar menu (including the empty cargo spaces),and if possible, the Store should also visible. My other suggestion would be to be able to directly transfer material from one ship to another (or from ship to Store and vice versa) using the drag and drop method in the same Hangar menu). My third suggestion is that if the same material can be found in both ships (*or Store), the largest amount can be transferred automatically when moving (example: one ship has 550 Copper Ore, the other has 850. If I 'drag' the 550 unit onto the 850, then automatically fills it up to 1000.) With this option, the movement of items between different units is significantly simplified, and we get a much more transparent picture of the items in our cargos and warehouse.

11 : Generator and Jump Gate. Now, surprisingly, I propose a 'punishment'. As a beginner player, the 'Jump in-Jump out' of a given system is a huge tactical help if we hire a 'Hunt down XY' Job. In parallel with the increase of our money, we will buy a more efficient Generator.

We can choose from 4 types of generators: A : Basic, B : Advanced, C : Extreme and D : Nuclear.

I recommend that there is :

  • A: Basic Generator no cooldown time for the Jump Gate
  • B: Advanced Generator 10 seconds,
  • C: Extreme Generator 20 seconds,
  • D: Nuclear Generator 30 seconds cooldown time for the Jump Gate

During this Generator cooling time, we CANNOT use the Jump Gate, but there are no other restrictions during the cooling time.

Plus Extra penalty: Above a certain Navigation skill (e.g. level 10), the generator reboots during the generator cooldown, i.e. it DOESN'T WORK. I don't know how functional this is, but I think that the player who has already reached this certain level is already experienced.

12 : Icons not visible. The Crafting fatigue,Gravity load and the Overheating icon's counter not visible,if the lower left system panel is minimized. I would recommend moving the icons associated with the cooldown time above the middle-bottom system panel. The red flashing icon warning of other dangers could be placed in the same place (of course, the original one would remain in the upper-left menu bar as well)

13 : LOGOUT. By clicking the 'LOGOUT' button, the system does not log the player out of the game .Last time you indicated that after exiting, it is possible that the ship will remain visible (and I think can be attacked) in the game for a few minutes.That's perfectly fine. BUT... I checked and found that even though I docked at a Station and clicked on 'LOGOUT', the ship remained visible even after several hours. However, this is not okay. Is this a possible bug?

6 and 13 : Ghost Ships / LOGOUT -- after some investigation, I was able to confirm this, sadly. Fixed in v0.9.36

10 : Yeah, that's on point, the interface needs more work here. In the meantime, the easier part of your request (moving incomplete piles) has been implemented in v0.9.35

15 : MAP bug : In the JOBS menu, Jobs whose target System cannot yet be seen on the MAP are also displayed (our Navigation skill is not yet high enough to see that System). If we click on the System (which, of course, is not visible to us on the MAP), the MAP screen opens, but instead of the target System, we see the last active System. However, I noticed that something is still visible... I am attaching the screenshot on Discord.

18 : Find missing person bug. Situation description: After I got the job, I set off and arrived at the 'last seen here' Station, where I got a new target Station. I went there as well, and from there I was directed to a newer station. At the third station, I finally found the missing person, and then they told me the name of the next station where I can collect the reward. Arriving there, however, I docked in vain, but I did not receive the reward. I'll post the 'description of the mission' and the 'docked at the last station' screenshots on Discord.

Note: I have successfully completed similar jobs in the past and received the reward for them. But those jobs didn't have 3 stations, only 1.
